On Friday, May 29th we took our 6463 pop tabs and turned them in at the school!

to every one who helped us reach our goal of 5000 and then some, we definitely couldn't have done it with out you! As you can see Jaydee wasn't here to turn them in. Her last day of school was Thursday and if you know Jaydee she is just not a morning person. The night before she was all for getting up and going but when it came right down to it she was just too tired! (I think her subconscious had been looking forward to the day she didn't have to get up early!!!)
We took the tabs into Ryan's classroom. His class was so excited. We added ours to the ones they had been collecting! Great job to the 2nd Grade!!!

As a mother I just want to express my appreciation to those of you who actually took the time to send us your tabs. To me it was more than just the tabs, it was the fact that you cared enough about two kids from Wyoming that had a goal and you were willing to help. I've found that there aren't many people left in the world that will take time out of their busy schedules to help. When we walked in to Ryan's classroom with all of the tabs, the excitement from his classmates was overwhelming. Ryan wasn't the "little" kid, he was the "superhero"! He's had a rough year and for those few moments, it made everything we did here worth it. We decided that every year we are going to strive to do a project and make a difference. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us achieve this goal. It means more than you know! Tiff :D

One Last Request!

The end of the school year is coming up very quickly. We are going to turn in our pop tabs next week. If you have any you would like to send us, we were greatly appreciate it! We are so close to our goal!!! A big thank you to Grandma Neilson, Grandma Harris, the Roitz family and the Brady family for your latest contribution! Check back next week and see if we did it!!! A Big Thank You!!

So it has been a couple of months since we have been able to do any posts, due to our computer going down...Yikes! But thanks to a wonderful brother-in-law, we are back in business! We have received many tabs since we last posted and are so close to our goal! Jaydee is convinced that we are going to be able to meet our goal of 5000 and more! I love to see the kids' enthusiasm and want to tell all of you that have made this a reality so far - THANK YOU! We couldn't have done it with out all of you. Since our last package from Florida, we received another fun package from our friend, Rob in New Jersey! Thanks - Rob!! We also want to send a big thank you to the Randy and Deborah Peterson family who have been collecting tabs for us from members of our community. Thank you to Marty Walker, Tina Cooper, Lori Lundblad, Natalia Peterson, the guys at Meridian Title and Mrs. Aimone for your support! Our grand total to date is 4322! We are going to collect tabs until the 3rd week in May. We are so close and are getting very excited to turn them in! Once again thanks for everything!

Wow! Florida!

What a great Christmas present we received this year! We went on vacation to Arizona to visit our good friends Cole and Eric, to come home and find a large package waiting for us at the Post Office from Florida! We couldn't believe our eyes when we opened the package from Melissa Elder and found a large amount of pop tabs! She works on the PGA Tour and also included some FedEx Cup Pins! We don't know what we were more excited about the tabs or the pins! Last summer our Grandpa bought us all golf clubs and got us hooked. We live to golf and can't wait for it to warm up so we can get going again! We put the pins on our bags so we can have them with us when we go on the course! Our Grandma Harris helped us count the tabs and there were 1170! This now brings our total to over 2000! We are so excited to be that much closer to our goal! Thanks Melissa!!!
